The High Point-Thomasville HiToms (17-11) return home on Wednesday and host the Statesville Owls in a seven-inning exhibition matchup on Shuler Meats Dollar Night.

The HiToms are second in the eight-team Coastal Plain League West division, 2.5 games ahead of the third-place Asheboro Copperheads. HP-T has been banking in runs behind a league-best 38 home runs and 149 walks in 28 games this season.

HP-T starts Catawba Indians lefty Maddux Holshouser against the Statesville Owls. In 15.1 innings, Holshouser has 12 strikeouts and three scoreless appearances. At Catawba, Maddux was effective, wrapping up the season with a 4.55 ERA for the Division II one-seed.

Discounted concessions are also in the cards for Wednesday, with Shuler Meats Dollar Night slashing the prices of concessions at Finch Field.
