Walker Honored as Male Student Athlete of the Week

High Point-Thomasville NC— The High Point-Thomasville HiToms, in conjunction with the High Point Enterprise and the High Point Rotary Club, are proud to announce the final set of six pairs of spring student athlete honorees.

Cameron Walker, a junior at Ledford High School, made his presence known at the Davidson County meet last week. Walker won the 100m with a time of 10.77, then followed up with a winning 200m time of 21.89. He went on to win the long jump and be a part of the winning 4 x 100mm relay team.

These efforts helped Walker earn meet MVP honors by winning 4 events on the afternoon.
