West Stokes’ duo powered Team Stars to a 6-5 victory in the HPT Triad Prep All‑Star Game, with Zoe Morgan earning MVP honors and Baylee Tilley delivering the game‑winner.

The Stars wasted no time, jumping to a 3-0 lead in the first inning on Morgan’s two‑run homer.

“It felt really good,” Morgan said. “I was coming back from an 0-2 count.”

But the Stripes chipped away, scoring once in the second, third, and sixth innings. The Stars added a run in the fourth, but the Stripes surged ahead in the top of the seventh when East Davidson’s Kyndall Williams delivered the game‑tying RBI and later came around to score, giving the Stripes a 5-4 edge heading into the Stars’ final at‑bat.

“It feels like I proved myself to all these people that I don’t know,” Williams said.

With the Stars down one and two runners on base, Williams delivered a walk-off hit to seal the game.

“I didn’t have the best at bats before, so it was great to redeem myself and end my high school career on a high note,” Williams said.

Now in its fourth year, the All‑Star Game spotlights 32 elite seniors representing Guilford, Randolph, Davidson, and Forsyth counties.

“It’s gotten bigger and bigger every year,” Oak Grove and Stripes coach Danielle DiLuzio said. “It’s a cool way to promote the sport for female athletes.”

This game marked the final time these athletes would wear their high school colors.

“I’m really sad, I might sleep in this jersey,” West Stokes’ Kaylee Stoltz said.
