Winter Lax Camp Set for Greensboro
The Piedmont Premier Women’s League is thrilled to announce our winter developmental camp series this December and January.
Based in Greensboro, the seven session training schedule will focus on individual skill development and small-sided offensive and defensive concepts. Highlighting a lacrosse player’s need to control the ball and shoot with precision, the winter development series focuses on a player’s cradling skill sets and shot speed maximization.
Throughout the camp, one of the most integral instructional sessions will be the incorporation of speed and agility drills. Focusing on a player’s ability to enhance balance and lateral movement, the PPWL Winter camp is an opportune way to accelerate a player’s speed and dodging skills prior to the spring calendar.
Camp Focus Areas:
- Cradling with Speed and Control
- Shot Speed Maximization
- 8 Meter Mechanics
- Lateral Movement Concepts
- Transition Offense Skills
- Defensive Balance and Pressure
- Individual Speed & Agility Drills
