This Tuesday, June 14th, the HiToms host the Martinsville Mustangs at Finch Field. But more importantly, we will be recognizing the first ever Thomasville Stars throughout the game.
Thomasville Stars are meant to recognize civil servants whose work often goes unnoticed. These nine Thomasville citizens were nominated by their peers for their dedication and passion to making Thomasville a better place every day. Leading up to the game, The HiToms will introduce a pair of the stars on social media.
With just two days to go until we celebrate our Stars on Thomasville Stars Night, let’s meet two more of the inaugural group. First, we have:
Nancy Staton – 30 years as English Teacher in Thomasville, Thomasville Boosters and retired teachers of Thomasville.
Along with Ms. Staton we also would like to introduce: Johanna Williams – 25 years with The Learning Place at Thomasville Medical
