HPT HiToms Sign RHP Will Papciak

High Point/Thomasville – 

The High Point-Thomasville HiToms have acquired Davidson College right-handed pitcher Will Papciak for the 2024 Coastal Plain League Season.

Papciak is a Freshman at Davidson College, where he has seen limited action in his first season. The Wildcats carry a record of 22-27.

Papciak is a graduate of Wesleyan Christian Academy in High Point, where he posted a 2.05 ERA. As a batter, Papciak maintained a .441 batting average his senior season. Papciak led the Trojans to the 4A State Championship his senior season. He was named Playoff MVP after batting .714 in the postseason.

The HiToms will open their season on May 23rd vs. the Asheboro Zookeepers.
