High Point/Thomasville – The High Point-Thomasville HiToms have acquired Lipscomb University RHP Tanner Lyne. 

Wimbish was redshirted in his first season with the Bisons. 

A native of Concord, NC, Lyne graduated from Concord Academy, where he carried a career ERA of 3.29. Lyne made two appearances in 2023 for the Lake Norman Copperheads.

The HiToms’ home opener is Saturday, May 25 vs. the Boone Bigfoots.
