
The HiToms rolled to an 11-2 road win on Monday night against the Martinsville Mustangs, breaking the game open with a seven‑run third inning. Martinsville scratched across single runs in the fifth and sixth, but the HiToms’ offense overpowered, finishing with 16 hits to the Mustangs’ six.
Right fielder Josh Foulks drove the offense with four hits in six at‑bats, scoring twice. Second baseman Grady Mee added three hits with two runs and two RBIs, while first baseman Drew Blalock matched him with three hits for two RBIs and one run scored.On the mound, starter Walter Morgan worked three scoreless innings with three strikeouts and just one hit allowed.
