High Point-Thomasville- The HiToms defeated the Bigfoots 12-3 by way of the home run, mashing four over the fence on Monday night.

 

LF Brantley Willis drove in the first four runs for the HiToms, hitting one home run to right-center field and tucking one inside the left field foul pole.

 

RF Bear Horowicz got in on the action in the seventh, hitting a towering two run shot over the center field fence.

 

In the eighth, pinch-hitter Bryce Hooker sent another baseball towering over the right-center field fence, increasing the HiTom tally to 12.

 

The standout on the mound for the HiToms was Alex Gaeto. Gaeto, out of Albuquerque, NM by way of Samford University, pitched four innings of one-hit ball with four strikeouts.

 

The HiToms take on the Asheboro ZooKeepers at Finch Field this Thursday at 6:30.
