HPT HiToms Announce Warren King Tribute

High Point/Thomasville – The High Point Thomasville Hi–Toms will be honoring the legacy of former HiTom and Thomasville Bulldog super fan Warren King Tuesday, June 11th at Historic Finch Field.

As part of Thomasville Tourism and the HPT HiToms’ Thomasville Stars Night, King’s eight-decade legacy will be recognized along with eightother Thomasville residents as part of Finch Field’s Chair City ‘unsung hero’ recognition celebration.

“Warren has been a vital part of the HiToms family since the pro HiToms franchise in the late 1960’s,” HiToms President Greg Suire said. “Finch Field was injected with Warren’s enthusiasm throughout his magical life and I will forever be grateful for his support, love and friendship,” Suire added. “Tuesday at Finch Field will be an amazing example of the quality of people who call Thomasville home.”

The Thomasville Stars and Warren King tribute will begin at 6:15 Tuesday night and be followed by the HiToms/Carolina Disco Turkeys contest.
