The High Point-Thomasville HiToms are excited to announce the addition of two new faces to their 2025 summer roster: Blaize Johnson from UNC Asheville and Gage Doss from Queens University.
Both players will be making their debut with the HiToms this summer, bringing fresh energy and talent to the club.

Known for his work ethic and on-base ability, Johnson has shown consistent improvement at the collegiate level and is ready to make an impact in the Coastal Plain League. This season at UNC Asheville he has posted an incredible .330 Average, also tallying a .943 OPS, showing his ability to not only get on base but really drive the baseball. Johnson is from Kernersville and attended Northwest Guilford High School, where he was a two time 4A first team all state member.
Gage Doss joins the HiToms from Queens University, where he has built a reputation for his command and competitive presence. Doss is poised to contribute meaningful innings this summer. Doss posted a .332 BA in 42 Games this year at Cleveland Community College, tallying 12 Homers and driving in 49 runs. Gage is also from the Triad Area, being from Winston-Salem.
As the HiToms continue to build a deep and competitive roster for the 2025 campaign, these two additions reflect the team’s commitment to developing top-tier collegiate talent.
