Dan McCarty is in his third season as Assistant Baseball Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for Wilmington College in Ohio where he helped lead the Quakers to their first winning season in 17 seasons.

Hailing from Nevada, McCarty possesses coaching experience at the collegiate and 14-18U levels. McCarty was named the 2022 Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Assistant Coach of the Year and was the inaugural recipient of the 2021 Coaches “Fore” Coaches Award.

As Catching Coach, McCarty is responsible for catcher development, improving catchers’ RCS percentage by 20%, with 25% fewer passed balls from the 2021 to 2022 seasons.
