Bowman Makes History, Receives Female Student Athlete of the Week Honors

High Point-Thomasville NC— The High Point-Thomasville HiToms, in conjunction with the High Point Enterprise and the High Point Rotary Club, are proud to announce the final set of six pairs of spring student athlete honorees.

This week’s female recipient of the recognition is Wheatmore High School School Senior, Summer Bowman. Bowman snagged a piece of Wheatmore history with her performance against Randleman last week.

She led her team to a 10-0 victory against the Tigers by scoring four goals, but Bowman truly left her mark when she dished out her lone assist of the contest. This gave her sole possession of the all-time Wheatmore Girl’s Soccer assist total.
